The Instutut d’Emission d’Outre Mer (IEOM) created in 1966, is a public state establishment. It plays the role of central bank in communities whose currency is the Pacific franc: New Caledonia, French Polynesia and Wallis and Futuna.

It exercises three types of mission in favor of the local economic development of its areas of intervention: monetary strategy, financial stability and services to the economy.

The IEOM produces specific notes on specific or transversal topical themes for the Pacific.

Started at the end of 2019, a new study on Tahitian cultured pearl will be available in 2020.

The IEOM occasionally offers specific or transversal thematic studies on a sector, activity or news in the Pacific.

Démarrée fin 2019 une nouvelle étude sur la perliculture polynésienne sera disponible courant 2020.

L’IEOM propose ponctuellement des études thématiques spécifiques ou transversales sur une filière, activité ou l’actualité dans le Pacifique.
