The association Tahitian Pearl Association of French Polynesia (TPAFP) is an association governed by the 1901 law and includes the main professional organizations of Polynesian producers and traders of Tahitian cultured pearls.

The association’s mission is to implement a promotional action program consistent with the public policy guidelines. She also advises and advises in the organization and regulation of the market of cultured pearls produced in French Polynesia, both in terms of production and marketing.

At the local level but also internationally, it contributes to the awareness, promotion and protection of this unique Polynesian product and to the defense of the interests of the sector and its representatives.

The Tahitian Pearl Association of French Polynesia (TPAFP) has since its creation in 2014 contributed to the development of the Loi du Pays 2017-16 of July 18, 2017 which reorganizes all stages of the pearl production (production, marketing …). She has initiated with all the actors and partners a work of reflection on the labeling of the Pearl of Culture of Tahiti in order to protect and valorize it on the local and international market. Finally TPAFP is involved through its Board of Directors and its members to make the pearl industry an economic activity environmentally friendly and sustainable.
